Today is November 1st! There was beautiful weather today, but it will get colder tomorrow.  We dinghy explored to try to find a place to stay while Dad rips up the boat to fix things.  We went to a hotel and also to a place we hoped would rent a houseboat to us.  We had no success.

Chris isn't too interested in playing baseball anymore, but this morning, he played a 3 inning one-on-one game of baseball with me.  Chris won 7-6.  At least it was only by one point.  I had a whole lot of fun.

A black lab followed a lady here on her bike.  She was dead afraid of it, yelling at it to go away.  We helped to distract the dog from her.  The dog had a collar, so we knew she belonged to someone.  She was a nice dog, and had manners.  The lady must have felt sorry for the dog and came out from her boat with some raw meat for her.  The dog just waited and didn't beg.  We played with her all day.  Chris and I found a pit and a trench that we called our "foxhole" and we played in it with her.  It took a long time to get her to come down the ramp into the foxhole.  Once she came down, she went right back up.  She loved to fetch sticks and we had fun with her.  She hung around all day and even sat at the bottom of the ladder to our boat when we went in for dinner and barked.  She was a good dog.  I hope she is still around tomorrow.  I am happy.©

Sure enough, it was colder today.  I played some baseball, but mostly played inside because it was cold.  I did have some fun.

Mr. Dave on Blue Yonder has friends that have a house up here, so we now have a place to stay!  We packed our things (clothes, toys, school books, etc.) to get ready to go there tomorrow.  I am happy.©

We moved into the house today.  While Mom and Chris got a rental car, Mrs. Nancy drove Dad and me to the house.  The house is one story - but very big.  If you look at it straight from the front, once small part looks like the front of a Greek temple.  It is very pretty.  It has a washer and dryer, two refrigerators, 2 freezers, a toaster, a microwave, an oven, a dishwasher, and an electric stove!!  Some weekend house!  They have a very nice wood floor throughout the whole house.  There are six beds, so everyone gets their own bed.  I like this house.

We spent the rest of the day shopping and bringing stuff from the boat.  I am

Today is Election Day!  We did school in the morning and shopped in the evening.

But, in the afternoon, we drove a long way to meet Imagine on their boat.  They are in Norfolk getting ready to sail in the Caribbean 1500. We played with Legos.  I invented the speeder.  After I made three, everyone wanted me to tell them how to make them and if their speeder was a good one.  Last time we were all together in Annapolis, we formed military units and I formed the Marine Corp.  We continued that today.  So, my Marine Corp. became a place where I told people how to make speeders.  I put really cool fronts on my speeders. Grant's speeders had cool tails.  I had the best stock on weapons.  Chris and Caroline did something else together, so there were no wars.  It was great to see them again.  I am

Obama won!  We did the obvious school in the morning.  Then I had a battle with my soldiers.  Everybody vs. everybody.  But Dad stopped it because Chris and I fought over the US Army position.

Mr. Bob flew in from Colorado to pick up his daughter's car, so he stopped to see us and he ate dinner with us.  I am happy.©

Mom made some great coffee cake that we shared with Mr. Bob for breakfast.  I love it.

We did school in the morning and shopped in the afternoon.  Today was boring.  I am happy.©

Friday, 11/7/08

We did school in the morning.  Then we took a 30 minute drive to Trans-Atlantic Diesel.  We played Eye Spy while Dad did something.

In the evening, the family that we met on Halloween invited us for a potluck party.  After we ate, Chris and I played LIFE with Sam.  We only got through half of it.  The food was great.  Dad made sausage.  I am happy.©
